Alison Moore shortlisted for the Booker Prize

 The New Writer would like to congratulate Alison Moore on the Booker Prize shortlisting for her debut novel, The Lighthouse.

Two micro fictions – ‘The Yacht Man’ and ‘The Smell of the Slaughterhouse’ – appear in The Collection,The New Writer Prose and Poetry Prizes 2011 anthology, published July 2012. ‘Trees in the Tarmac’, highly commended in the short story category, will be published in a forthcoming issue of The New Writer.
