The TRYangle Project Poetry Competition

For previously unpublished poems in English Language on any subject, in any style up to 50 lines long (excluding title). The poems submitted must not be under consideration for or accepted for publication elsewhere. This competition is in aid of The TRYangle Project, a charity that helps victims of domestic violence and abuse.
First Prize: £100.00
Second Prize: £50.00
Third Prize: £30.00
High Commendation Prizes: 2 x £10.00
Results & First Publication: The competition results will be announced and all prize winners will receive first publication in the Excel for Charity News Blog on the 28th of February 2013.
Entry Fees: £3 per poem, or £12 for 5, £16 for 7. A third of net entry fees goes to The TRYangle Project.
(The 2011 competition raised £143.50 for the charity. With your generous entries this year we should do more in 2012.)
About The TRYangle Project
The TRYangle Project is a Greenwich-based charity, with an aim to increase the safety of families who experience domestic violence and abuse by providing programmes of group work and individual counselling for men and women in London and South-East England, and young people aged 13-18 years who are impacted by domestic violence.
Domestic abuse costs the tax payer £23,000,000,000 per year and two women die each week as a result of domestic violence.

(3) Send your poems, and your Cover Note as Word, or rtf attachments to firstname.lastname@example.org
